Empowering Youth Together

Our Mission

At Moe’s Transitional Living Center (MTLC) Inc, we believe in the unique potential of every young person. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where youth can learn, grow, and thrive. We are dedicated to treating everyone with dignity and respect, ensuring they feel valued and empowered on their journey to success.

Our current Chief Executive Officer, Murece Johnson, Ed.D, formed MTLC in September 2004. Dr. Johnson has a long history of service to youth/residents and their families.

MTLC is a dedicated organization providing safe, supportive, and structured housing for male youth between the ages of 12-21. Comprised of three group homes, MTLC offers a nurturing environment where young men can develop life skills, receive mentorship, and work toward independence.

At MTLC, we are proud to be accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA), a globally recognized standard of excellence in human services. This accreditation reflects our unwavering dedication to providing high-quality care and services that meet the diverse needs of our clients. Additionally, MTLC is certified as a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP), ensuring we adhere to rigorous standards in delivering compassionate, evidence-based support. These distinctions reaffirm our mission to empower individuals and families while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and integrity. At MTLC, excellence is not just our standard—it’s our promise!

Together, we foster teamwork and partnerships that uplift youth, families, and our entire community.
